How to earn with Pegaxy
This crypto project is a play to earn metal horse (pega) racing game. I saw a gaming youtube video and thought, this looks nice! So I started to make my research and finally started to play and invest. For me this project has 2 drivers:
I want to learn how a play to earn crypto game works, without playing a lot of time. This game is great, as I can rent out my pegas (horses) for racing and do not need to play. So my part is to rent out pegas, earn VIS and invest it again, to breed new pegas and rent out again.
I think this crypto project has growth potential, so I am investing in this game with buying pegas. BUT this is a High Risk Investment. So I invested a part of my crypto earnings from 2021. If I would loose it, it would be OK, because I will learn a lot about crypto gaming sector with this game.
I am documenting it here for myself, so I learn the most out of this game. But you are welcome to learn from my experiences.

How Pegaxy Works in a nutshell
It is a metal horse racing game, where you can earn if you win (gold, silver, bronce), where you can rent a horse, buy/sell a horse, breed horses with some scarcity mechanism (bloodlines, breed types).
Need to have a personal crypto wallet with some polygon matic on it
Rent a pega and start earning VIS (utility token within game)
Buy a Pega and start racing or start renting and also earn VIS
Pegaxy Renting & Racing
To get started with the Pega Racing Game, I rented some Pegas first. You need to have some PGX tokens in your wallet, to pay for a renting as a fix cost. Or you can try to get a Pega where you do not have to pay, just to play and you give some percentage of the race winning amount (VIS) to the pega owner. But I never managed to get one of such a deal (be aware, that there are also bots in this game, the developers try to find a way to fight against bots). Then I was convinced about the game and bought some pegas. In the table below I documented my start of journey with my pegas.

Pegaxy multiple Accounts
As I got more an more pegas, I wanted to split pegas on different wallets for safety (spreading risk of loosing). But then I saw on a Youtube video that there is a “account usage policy”. So I had to move my pegas on different devices and different accounts (my account & my wife account). See the overview picture “Account Usage Policy” (I got this picture from the official Pega Support).
Move pegas from one wallet address to another wallet address on same device
If you need to move pegas from one wallet address to another wallet address. One example would be to move to a wallet address which is secured by a hardware wallet (example Trezor or Ledger). Then VERY important put the pegas in RESTING state, move all and wait at least 24 hours before playing again (policy as of 3. feb 2022).

I bought 9. dec 2021 a pega and it was showing under “my assets”. But then I rented out for racing. Then my pega disapeared. I wrote via the chatbot on the pegaxy homepage my problem. After 1 day, my pega was showing up again. It is important to have a support channel, which is in place for Pegaxy and they take care of the bugs.

Pegaxy Some Important Numbers
Some numbers I think are important to know. Especially the long time for the “VIS Claim Period”. If you claim your VIS token racing rewards, to breed new horses. The newly VIS tokens you get from racing will be locked for 15 days. Need to wait this time to breed new horses.

How to start with Pegaxy
To start the pegaxy game I needed to understand first, what I need to setup first. As newcomer is quite complex. But the good thing is, I learned and made experiences with it. So I share here, how I started so set this up. There are may ways and tools, I show you my way.

Install metamask (my personal crypto wallet)

I installed the Metamask browser extension from Chrome. Always use official links.
Choose Crypto Broker (Binance & Crypto.com)

There are many crypto brokers where you can choose from. I use Binance & Crypto.com since Jan 2021. I bought Polygon/MATIC.
Send Polygon/MATIC from Crypto Broker to Metamask

Sometimes it happened that I could not send MATIC from Binance to Metamask, as there was congestion on Binance. Same happened sometimes with crypto.com. O I choosed that one that was not overloaded. I bought Polygon/MATIC. If you send from Crypto Broker to the metamask wallet make shure to use Polygon chain “Layer2” (not Ethereum “Layer1”). Pegaxy runs on Polygon chain and the beauty is, small fees.
