My Crypto Portfolio
Probably the most interesting page for you, as I am showing you my Crypto allocation and especially where I hold my cryptos and where I stake which crypto.
As I do not trust anybody, I have diversified my cryptos and spreaded it over many crypto exchanges and also on personal wallets (hot & cold). You see my allocation in detail below...
I started January 2021 with a very small amount and just some cryptos. Then I did more and more research and bought more and more cryptos.
Now I have a diversified crypto portfolio which in my opinion is optimized for me to lower the risk of loosing money.
But I need now to invest quite some time (new learnings) and managing my whole crypto portfolio. I like to do this work.
Why to buy crypto?
Why it does make sense in my opinion to hold crypto. Due to Corona money printing by central banks increased so much. This rises the money for goods to pay and this brings down the value of our FIAT (latin word, “a determination by authority”)Â money. Also my pension fund money. So how can I invest my money against inflation (inflation hedge) and to have enough money in my retirement. Here I show you my activities, which I hope will work for me.
Money printing & Inflation

But I believe also, that much more of crypto projects will disapear. there are thousands of crypto projects out there. Therefore an in deepth analysis of crypto project is crucial.
Which crypto I buy?
My research use crypto news sites and crypto video channels. Before I buy a crypto. I do a research by myself and do not decide on opinions of others, I just take this into account. The most important topics for me is, to have a good feeling about a crypto project. You find my research criterias in the blue box. If I bought a crypto I hold it mostly for a long time. I do no day or short term trading.
What problem solves this crypto project

This is the most important topic to know about the crypto project. It must solve a problem, it must bring value. What is the USP (Unique selling proposition). The faster you can explain the benefit and the better it can solve the issue, the better.
Crypto project landing page
+ Details
Take a close look at the crypto home page. This is the business card, the entry for all people, to see, what the product ist. So a professional website is a must. It must have all needed information on this homepage.
Crypto white paper
+ Details
Reading the white paper is a must, even it is complicated to understand. You need to understand what is going to be build. Does this makes sense? Take a look at the team, do they have the right people for this? Is the white paper well written? Or can it be a scam? There are examples, see “squid game” token scam. They just created a website, wrote a white paper with spelling errors and did some social media marketing. Â As they had enough millions collected from people, they took all the money and disapeared.

The team behind the crypto is essential! The most important after the USP (Unique selling proposition). Take a close look about every person in the team and what benefit this person brings. + Details

Can I stake it?
+ Details
Usually if a crypto project uses “proof of stake” consensus then you can earn money by providing your coins to be staken. This gives you like an “interest”. Usually shown as  APY (annual percentage yield). Example 6% APY for Solana. When a project is starting and start to stake, the APY is mostly much more high, and over time if more and more is staked, APY is going down.
My Crypto Portfolio Allocation
BTC, ETH, SOL are my strongest positions. I love SOL as I bought at the right time and it went parabolic.
- I buy and hold
- I hold on many crypto exchanges and also on many wallets, to diversify risk of loosing
- I try to stake there, where it makes most sense to me, most driven by the percentage of staking
Market Cap of some of my cryptocurrencies
Graph below shows you the market cap of some bigger crypto product (semi-anual), to get an idea of how crypto markets move.
[values shown in billion $]
Graph below shows you the market cap of smaller crypto product (semi-anual), to get an idea of how crypto markets move.

My Crypto Landscape
The crypto landscape is quite complex to understand.
That’s why I created this table for me to see the relation of a specific crypto to the blockchain and all needed product and technical layers.
My Crypto Staking
I stake as much as possible with my cryptos, that I am still comfortable with it. There could be slight risk about loosing some money. Since January 2021 as I started I never lost money. As I do staking in so many different platforms, the risk is spreaded.
- I earn “interest” for my crypto
- What is staking in detail? See in fundamentals
My Crypto Staking on Crypto Exchanges
A good driver to learn about crypto is following
- Start with a very small porfolio with a small amount of money invested in crypto. Do your own research, see above, how..
- Just start with buying crypto from a crypto exchange. Get familiar with this, see the price going up and down (volatility), get comfortable with it.
- Start thinking to optimize your portfolio with staking of crypto. Allocate there, where it makes most sense to you. Be aware if you send crypto from an exchange to another exchange or personal wallet, it will have some fees. A lot are with small fees, but others are with high fees, like today with Ethereum 1.0, where you have high (gas) fees!
Below in the table you find my crypto staking portfolio.
I update it regularly when I do allocate new crypto’s or need to renew my fixed staking period or change the exchange/wallet of a specific crypto, as it looks more safe or more profitable to me.
As I do this documentation, it help me better understand the crypto staking landscape and to invest best for my purpose.
The dark blue cells show, where I do have an active staking for this crypto.
